Description - Remixed for the Talenthouse remix contest. Switchfoot has long been my favorite band and it was fantastic to get a chance to remix one of their tracks using the original stems. The track itself strikes me as one that the band could play as an alternative to the original. It's at a faster BPM that doesn't compromise the intended message, and introduces some strings and electronic elements for a thick, full sound.

Description - Written as a "bonus track" for GoldenEye: Source. This breaks the mold of the rock/electro style remix in favor of an upbeat, dance/orchestral hybrid. Consistently one of the favorites on the soundtrack despite its last second addition (and the fact that it sounds nothing like the rest).

Description - One of my favorite TV theme songs, this was created on a whim and was the product of taking some time off of work for a weekend. Mixes 80's style electronics with orchestral rock and a short dubstep/glitch section. After the first minute, it remains more of a cover than my usual remixing style. Description - This source might beg to differ on the first comment I made about my Halo 3 remix. The original source is untouchable to remix in an orchestral style, so I slowed the tempo down and built a massive beat into the song. Rock guitars fight with french horns throughout the piece along with electronic elements.

Description - Somewhat similar to my "Malevolent Mansion" remix, this attacks the source in a madcap synth/rock driven drum n' bass arrangement. After a breakdown about halfway through, the track breaks into an outro reminiscent of Pendulum's "the Tempest."

Description - This track was a collaboration with two good friends of mine, Jimmy (Big Giant Circles) Hinson and Brian (Tweex) Arnold. The inspiration for this track came from a performance of Video Games Live that all three of us attended. The two tracks that we chose to remix and combine here were originally composed by Jack Wall and Tommy Tallarico, the producers of Video Games Live. We went up on stage in front of the 2,000 or so attendees and promoted the track, along with the OCRemix site.

The track itself is a brawling one that progresses from ambient electronic to Hollywood style bombastic orchestral, then transitions through a piano-laden breakdown into Pendulum-style drum & bass. It finally concludes with a rocking conclusion that ties both sources together.
